To do GyneFlexTM exercises properly it is important to isolate the pelvic floor muscles. The pelvic floor muscles are voluntary muscles. This means that we can control them.
When doing your GyneFlexTM exercises try to keep your body relaxed. DO NOT tighten the muscles in your abdomen, buttocks or legs.
To monitor the use of these muscles, place one hand on your abdomen and one on your thigh. If you feel your abdomen or your thigh move you are incorrectly using these muscles.
Here is an exercise log to help you maintain a regular exercise routine. You can either print it out or keep it electronically.
