Lets put a disclaimer in this blog first and foremost. This blog is not about preventing pregnancy. For that, I would visit the health and beauty aisle at your local supermarket and look for something that is made of latex (laughs). This blog is about the Pregnancy prevention program which prevents diastasis recti from occurring or helps heal any separation that has occurred from having babies or years of exercise.

The Pregnancy prevention programs are led by trainers who will teach you how to implement the 4-step program. The 4-step program includes wearing a diastasis splint (not a compression bandage or abdominal binder), strengthening and protecting the connective tissue, moving around safety and including exercises which are diastasis safe.
Commitment to the Pregnancy prevention program is required to see results and should be undertaken either during pregnancy (from the second trimester) to reduce the chance of diastasis recti occurring, or post-baby, to help reduce abdominal separation. It is best to identify if you have separation by testing for Diastasis Recti.
